We are excited to announce the first annual Erwin Lights Festival Gingerbread House contest. The theme of the contest is "An Erwin's Country Christmas". Deadline for registering has been extended to 9pm, December 12th by mail, fax, e-mail or drop off at Erwin Orchards Cider Mill. Forms can be dropped off starting Nov. 29th, Thurs. - Sun., between the hours of 5-9 pm. All houses should be brought to the cider mill from Dec. 13th - Dec. 15th, between the hours of 5-9 pm. The judging will be on December 16th and results posted by 5 pm at the mill (sorry, contestants may not be present). Houses will be on display in the cider mill through Dec. 28th.

1. Children (ages 11 & under)

3. Adult (ages 18 & above)
4. Professional (bakers, pastry chefs, etc.)

1. All entries must be made out of gingerbread.
2. All entries must be on a board and can be any size up to 16" x 16".
3. You may enter more than one house with a registration form for each one.
4. Adult and professional entries must be original designs.
   Teens and children may use Gingerbread House kits.
5. Decorations must be edible products (i.e. candies must be unwrapped, etc.). ONLY the base can be inedible.
6. No artificial displays such as styrofoam, plastic or glue.
7. You will need a 3 x 5 note card that has your category, name, phone number and address to identify and/or contact you.
8. Electricity not available.
9. The management of Erwin Lights Festival reserves the right not to accept an entry if it is deemed inappropriate or offensive.
10. All photos taken of entrees become the property of Erwin Orchards, Inc. and we reserve the right to use them for promotional purposes, without further compensation to contestant.
11. Entries must be picked up between the hours of 5-10 pm on December 29th or Dec. 30th. If not picked up by then, houses will be disposed of.
